New for 2025! A 10 day adventure in one of the most legendary wilderness areas in the US
New for 2025! The Bob Marshall Wilderness, or "the Bob" as it's known by anglers in the know, consists of over one million acres of roadless wilderness only accessible by foot or horseback. For lifelong backcountry anglers, it is a bucket list destination. We are excited to share this awe-inspiring landscape with the next generation and are confident a lifelong love for adventure and passion for conservation will soon follow. After arriving at the Missoula airport, we will make the scenic drive along the Blackfoot River and its Northern Fork to our base camp at the North Fork Trailhead, which lies on the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. The first few days will allow our young anglers to get familiar with local waterways and fisheries, learning the ins and outs of catching fishing on Monture Creek, the esteemed Blackfoot, and North Fork. With everyone up to speed, the real adventure begins when we hit the trail for three days of camping and fishing in the Bob along the North Fork of the Blackfoot River. This stretch within the Wilderness area is famous for its dry fly fishing, with the primary target being native Westslope Cutthroat Trout. The adventure concludes with a 2-day, float fishing trip on the Blackfoot River. We will wrap up the trip with a big banquet dinner before heading home from Missoula the next day! The Bob has quickly become a favorite destination for our participants and guides alike, and we couldn't be more excited to offer it as a destination for our younger anglers this year.
