Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions is an adventure education company specializing in wilderness fly fishing trips for adolescents. We are dedicated to leading memorable, exciting, educational, and, most importantly, fun wilderness fly fishing adventures for middle and high school students. Our flagship programs are our 5-20 day long Teen Adventures and Expeditions. We also offer custom wilderness adventures for families, schools, or small groups.
Will Lillard founded Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions while he was earning his M.A. in Environmental Conservation Education at NYU. As a fly fisherman and fly fishing guide, Will admired the dedication to conservation and stewardship he noticed among fly fishermen and women. He combined his experiences leading teen adventure education trips, working at a semester school, and guiding with the benefits of service-learning to create LFFE. Our mission is to inspire future generations of confident, independent anglers with a passion for conservation and stewardship.
