Hi all,
Our trip has come to a close and while it is full of farewells and goodbyes, it also marks the end of two weeks full of memories that we will never forget.
We spent our last full day on the Madison River chasing large brown and rainbow trout in strong current. A legendary river, today we found trout eating small flies subsurface. A fun way to fish, many of the kids hooked up and lots of great fish were landed. After a fun morning and early afternoon fishing, we headed back to base camp to pack up and cap off a great trip with steak banquet dinner with rolls and fresh salad.
After dinner we sat around base camp watching the sun set and telling stories of about the trip before getting to bed early to prepare for the early airport and departure day. This was a great group - we all had a blast. We hope the kids had as much of an unforgettable trip as we all had. It has been awesome, but it is time to say goodbye.
