At Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions we are always looking for the absolute best leaders for our teen backpacking and fly fishing adventures. Our limited number of trips each summer allow us the opportunity to be very selective with our small summer staff.
We look for individuals that have experience teaching fly fishing, enjoy working with teens, and are knowledgeable about backcountry safety. All applicants for co-leader positions must be 20 years of age before June, 1st and have successfully passed a wilderness first responder course. We travel in 15 passenger vans and tow an enclosed trailer. All trip leaders and directors must have a clean driving record.
Preference is given to applicants who are available from the beginning of June through mid-August, but we do occasionally need leaders for short term (one or two trips) contracts.
Leading backpacking and fly fishing trips for teens is a fun, exciting, and most importantly a rewarding summer job. We hire young adults who we trust will serve as role models to our teenage participants. Great trip leaders are one of the most important ingredients to the success of our trips, and you will be one of the participants most memorable parts of the trip.
If you are interested in working for LFFE this summer please send an email and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be happy to talk you through the application process.
